I’ve been doing counseling since long before I sought a degree. I’ve always felt drawn to hearing people’s stories and walking alongside them through the seasons that are hardest to carry alone: grief, transition, change, and the kind of hardship that doesn’t have a tidy ending. Our burdens are lighter when someone helps us bear them, and that’s the work I’m here to do.
I work with people of all ages, with a special heart for teens — the years when so much is shifting at once and having one steady, nonjudgmental adult in your corner can change
everything. Whatever brings you in, my goal is for you to feel genuinely heard, never rushed, and met exactly where you are.
I care for the whole person — mind, body, and spirit. I believe our mental health doesn’t live in isolation from the rest of us; it’s shaped by how we live, how we tend to our bodies, and the sense of meaning and connection we carry. I have training and experience incorporating spirituality into counseling for clients who want that to be part of their work, and I’m equally comfortable meeting clients wherever they are in that part of life.
If you’ve been waiting for the right time or the right person to talk to, I’d be honored to be that person. You don’t have to have it all figured out — we’ll take the next step together.
I live in Troy, Alabama, with my husband and our child, and I see clients at our Ozark office. As a Counseling Intern on the path to licensure as an LPC, I currently provide free counseling under the clinical supervision of Dr. Linda Domerese and under the site supervision of MaddisonKirschner, LMFT.
I will also be facilitating groups through the Boys & Girls Clubs of America in Ozark, helping expand access to mental health support and resources for local youth.
