Life can be overwhelming at times. Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, parenting stress, trauma, addiction recovery, or major life transitions, you don’t have to face it alone.
As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I am passionate about helping individuals, couples, children, and families find hope, healing, and practical solutions to life’s challenges. I believe therapy should be a place where you feel genuinely heard, understood, and supported while working toward meaningful change.
Before becoming a therapist, I worked in Emergency Medical Services, where I had the privilege of helping people through some of the most difficult and vulnerable moments of their lives. That experience gave me a unique understanding of trauma, crisis, grief, resilience, and the emotional impact that high-stress careers can have on individuals and families. Because of this background, I have a special appreciation for the unique challenges faced by first responders, healthcare professionals, and other helping professionals.
Throughout my career, I have worked extensively with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families facing a variety of challenges. I have a particular passion for helping troubled teens who may be struggling with behavioral issues, emotional regulation, family conflict, self-esteem concerns, trauma, anxiety, depression, or difficulties at school. I understand that adolescence can be a challenging season for both teens and the people who love them, and I strive to help families strengthen communication, rebuild trust, and create healthier relationships.
I also have experience supporting women in recovery as they navigate the complex process of healing, rebuilding self-worth, repairing relationships, and creating meaningful lives beyond addiction. Recovery is about more than abstinence, it’s about discovering who you are, learning healthier ways to cope, and building a future that aligns with your values and goals.
My counseling style is warm, collaborative, and down-to-earth. I believe therapy works best when clients feel comfortable being themselves and know they have a partner walking alongside them through the process. Together, we can identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck, build on your existing strengths, and develop practical tools to help you move forward.
I am trained in the Gottman Method for couples therapy and utilize evidence-based approaches to help clients strengthen relationships, improve communication, and create lasting change.
Whether you’re seeking support for yourself, your child, your relationship, or your family, I would be honored to be part of your journey toward growth and healing.
